Supreme’s FW17 drop- which pieces were fuego

Yesterday’s Supreme drop was a bit of a mixed bag and as usual everything sold out within a matter of minutes. This season saw the skating brand collab with Dr Marten to produce what can only be described as the nastiest shoes many of us have ever seen. Despite this, there were many pieces in the drop which were straight up fuego.

Saki and Noodles anyone?

Although it’s likely that everybody buying the Saki sets and Chopsticks don’t drink Saki and haven’t a clue how to use a pair of chopsticks, they were on everyone’s cop list. These pieces literally sold out in a matter of seconds and were this drops hottest.

Compact Logo Hooded Sweatshirt

Next, we have the Compact Logo Hooded Sweatshirt which is comfy as hell and looks dope. Available in 7 colours, the freshest of which are undoubtedly the classic red and tangerine. If you have this piece wear it with a pair of Airmax and a distressed jean. You’ll look hype AF.

The Glitter Arc Football Top

Some of the colour schemes of these tops were a bit crusty but overall, they were pretty sought after. The best colours were the white, black, navy and red, which all sold out in a matter of minutes. The top has some cool glitter wording on it, which everyone hyped over.

Best In The World L/S Tee

Now I don’t know about everyone else, but this tee is my favourite piece from the drop. The embroidered logo of the Asian Lady in full traditional gear is just too cool. This Tee was very popular, selling out in practically no time. I actually can’t fault this piece. It just looks cool AF in every single colour and you could wear it with literally anything.

What about the rest of the drop?

The rest of the drop consisted of some sharp outwear bombers and pullovers but there were a number of pieces which missed the mark completely. The Floral shirts, Cargo pants and Velvet jackets, were just offensive. It’s crazy to think the designers up at Supreme thought people would actually buy any of these items. I’m excited to see what Supreme come up with next season.

If you fancy getting your hands on some of the pieces mentioned in this article, you can still cop them here. You’re welcome.
